The Vehicle of Life is Driven by God!

The Vehicle of Life is Driven by God!

HE has the ultimate GPS—God’s Purposed System. When you sit as a passenger in a car with someone that is known for perfect driving skills, you know that you are in safe hands.  You can truly rest and trust in the decisions of the driver and know that you will arrive safely to your destination.  This is true when considering God is the expert driver and we are the anxious passenger.

We make the choice to jump out of the vehicle at every speed bump—falling to the ground, crying, worrying, and seeking comfort in the arms of anyone nearby. Of course, there will be moments when God allows us to get out, take a breath, and process our emotions. Hopefully, those around us will offer Godly counsel, gently guiding us back to the vehicle where God has been patiently waiting with His foot on the brake.

Inevitably, we get back in—not because we have all the answers, but because we trust that God is able. He’s done it before, and He will do it again. The brake is there so we can take a moment to feel and be human, but it was never meant to be a permanent stop. We are not called to park—we are called to move forward, gradually and purposefully.

Now, be mindful: who is driving your vehicle?

If you’re riding with the enemy, you’ll know it. The journey will be chaotic—hitting every pothole, every speed bump, making reckless turns, ignoring Godly counsel. You will never rest. You can’t. You're being jolted around, your nerves are constantly on edge, and fear takes the place of peace. How can you think positively? How can you believe you will survive and thrive when not even the seatbelt can hold you securely.  Your face print is left on the window. The enemy wants you to get banged up or leap out the vehicle because that is when he hopes we will be too hurt to pray or have faith.

Get in the vehicle with God!

Put on your seatbelt and arrive safely at your destination.

And when you do, don’t forget to say thank you—and give God a 5-star rating!

Because the true win is helping someone else get there too!

Amen?! Amen!
